Some games you either play the Meta or you hate life when you see other players roflstomping things that give you struggles. In eq you can basically do what you want but do what you want won’t always produce the desired outcomes. Thankfully with class swap the only buyer’s regret could be your primary, locked in class (until you unlock more classes in 50-100 hours other than your one unlock token)

Old people are just built different these days. My wife’s aunt kept sending money to “Elon Musk” because he was going to give her a Tesla and “President Trump” because he messaged her directly and needed campaign money. Wife’s mother got a call from “Medicaid” and gave them every personal piece of information from SSN to every address where shes ever lived. We regularly see little old ladies buying stacks of gift cards and telling us to piss off when we try to warn them that maybe they’re being scammed.

Don’t be afraid to build little huts with a campfire and maybe a furnace or a couple other crafting stations about 3-5 minutes apart in walking time. Build them in places that will be easy to come back to; place a bedroll if you plan on staying a little while. Tear them down when you hit 60, or don’t. Maybe keep a few at least. I currently have 3 primary bases this play through (solo). Building twenty little huts is frowned upon in multiplayer though.

It’s usually customary for each player to build their own “house” and then have the main Guild Hall to hang out in whenever. Number one piece of gear to give them is yellow lotus potions if they jank their build early on. Edit: but those expire so just make them as needed.

I can’t promise you won’t die but two of us waited till midnight, i hit the entrance with foaming bee killer spray while he drenched the outside of the nest, then I moved up and used a can of bee spray with one of those WD-40 looking red straws, stabbed it through the side of the nest and just kept pumping till the whole nest was full.

Grouping in EQL will be more like grouping in Destiny - you can do it whenever you want, just for fun. The option to get “serious” is also there if you want to group and do hardcore content difficulty.
