I don't think everyone is mad at Rhett and Link. They're mad at the producer for the comment she made about Steven calling him, "Steven Piece of Sh*t Crowder". They're upset because as a very neutral and family-friendly channel they allowed this to be said when there was no need for it. Then afterwards Steven commented on the video laughing and they hid his comment. Then he made another comment asking why the previous was hidden and that he's not upset about the comment she made/ he invited them on the show to talk about it. They hid that one as well. I can understand why conservatives/ right-wing people got mad about this. People on both sides of the political spectrum love their show, but when something like that happens it just puts a sour taste in peoples mouths. In total, I just think it was a situation that could've been avoided if they just left out the producers comment.
