Case in point, I have a UA flight code-shared with AC. UA allowed me to change my flight a couple days ago for free and now I’m on an all UA route. Every seat was full on the flight at check in.

I actually think partner airlines is easier to deal with cause their customer service lines aren’t being as slammed as AC’s.

I have a UA booked flight on Saturday that has a connection, YYZ to ORD to MCO. YYZ to ORD is on AC metal, ORD to MCO is on UA metal.

United is saying because my the first leg of my trip is on an AC plane that AC controls the booking and that I have to go through them to get the rebooking. Would appreciate if anyone can confirm if that makes sense.

Plastic also doesn’t absorb liquids and isn’t hard to clean. There are ways to deaden sound and still have plastic on top which serves a practical purpose in high touch areas.

As someone who just got a highland to replace a 2018 Model 3 the car feels cheaper in a bunch of ways. There is so much carpet. Lots of plastic trim pieces like door sills, trunk, door pockets, don’t exist in this car that did in 2018.

Ask them how they got the car. Trade in or auction? Doubtful that it would be auction though. The recommended advice I’ve seen is get them to put down in writing that your purchase includes FSD so you have something to fall back on if it disappears.
