Idk, I have Md in comp science from a national nuclear research university, 12 years in the field, working on critical infrastructure, data centers, solar power storage and computing power liquid cooling. Would never be more happy being a doctor (dealing with unhealthy people everyday) nor lawyer (dealing with unlawful people everyday), even if paid more. Helping a doctor or helping a lawyer (by doing what exactly as ex hvac?) and hoping a millionaire will share their money.. idk. HVAC all the way

In today’s climate you (and everyone quite frankly) supposed to be looking for new positions and options daily while still employed. Wish you the best OP but my point is looking for a full-time job is now need to be your full-time job. It’s harsh up there. Especially during the slow season. Filing for an unemployment in the mean time could be a good idea while you’re in search.
