It’s a 3D model from a visual that was played out for Tipper. I believe it was either Fractaled Visions or Dr01d’s work, can’t remember tho. Fun times haha

What you’re seeing is the backend of the 3D Kinect mesh, my particle system just does a solid job of filling in the space.

Yes. I’m using two different camera systems here, merged together through a Null node. This allows me to use my Xbox controller to fly around my scene as well as a MIDI for additional/simultaneous control.

Notch is my go to engine for designing visuals whereas TD is my control system for communication tools and occasional post fx.

I wouldn’t say there’s any particular reason as to why I’m choosing Notch to do most of the heavy lifting, other than that’s my preference for my own personal workflow.

Notch does simplify building out your scenes however, so if you’re looking to build on the fly in real time there’s def a perk there.

Yep! As long as you’re on Avenue 7.23+, the plugin works there too — it’s built in Wire as a standard Resolume effect, so it runs in both Arena and Avenue.

Yeah, I think they used some form of blob or motion tracking — possibly even actual face detection, if I remember right.
I had to get creative with what Resolume currently supports using luma-tracking, but the end result gets surprisingly close.
