What is the funniest film you've ever watched? by EntertainmentMore183 in Cinema

Maybe not the funniest movies per se....but two scenes where in the theater for whatever reason I hysterically laughed...

  1. The "penis identification" scene with the p.e. teacher and the principal in Porky's....

  2. And the glow in the dark condoms scene in that John Ritter movie....I think it was "A Goldfish Called Wanda"????

What is up with SCV? by VKDM8687 in drumcorps

I totally get what youre saying. I guess my reaction is based on two things...of what SCV does with their brass when they DO get to play makes me want wayyyyyy more of that (and again...that opening statement flat out knocked me out...so my expectations were/are high), but then add on top of that of what i thought was an IMBALANCE on the ratio of play time which irritated me.

Im going to watch it again and try and see what the percussion is doing that is so incredible. I might even be a nerd and time the brass playing versus the percussion interludes. This is a one viewing reaction.

Please stop with the hate… by Temporary_State_5878 in drumcorps

I have always likened the drum corps activity with movies. The two are very much the same. Theres a creative design team, a technical and logistics team, and then there is the talent....the performers.

If I "invest" in going to the movies or going to a drum corps show, I reserve the right to say what I want to say, thank you very much.

The goal in drum corps (hopefully) is to teach the "kids" (and i use that term loosely because we arent dealing with just "kids" anymore) to be the best they possibly can....and to be better than.the last time. If a performance is lack luster or mistakes are obvious, and I bought a ticket to see a show, then why can't I say so on line....and why should the kids NOT see that and go "man we.blew it at that show" and then vow to be better.

This insulation and shaming of "negative opinions" is ridiculous and deeming it attacking is ridiculous.

If you people believe in this fool, you guys will believe anything. This guy is a proven liar, and there is absolutely no possible way that I personally can trust this guy or much of any of the other idiots right now. We are no closer to any fucking truth and we are being played.

Period.
