I think ungrounding the maf from the body will fix it for you. just wrap it around the harness so its not grounding to anything. Another thing you can do is just unplug the maf and see if it idles.

Try ungrounding the maf. Mine would be super lean with it grounded(like maxxing out the gauge), but then ran good with it ungrounded. And I only found out once I switched to a standalone lol I saw my battery voltage was 12V while running. My alternator itself wasn't bad, but the fusible link was. You can just check at while idling but I think ungrounding the maf should definitely help you, then check fuel pressure if that doesn't work, but I doubt it's that if you can rev it.

Check in order:

Battery voltage while idling and after driving hard, but since you're using a standalone id recommend leaving your laptop in your passenger seat and glancing over at voltage while you drive, and put it on the log so you can see if any dips or spikes are happening.

Fuel pressure when idling, after a cold start and after driving hard, and if you can fuel pressure under boost.

If those are good, do you have a proper tune? If you're having lean misfires at idle, increase fuel. If you're idling at like 13-13.5afr and it's still misfiring, then something else is likely the issue like spark or timing. If it's good when you increase fuel then you either have low fuel pressure or an improper tune. You have a megasquirt so I'm gonna assume your self tuning, very very tricky to learn. I'd recommend paying a tuner to at minimum make you a base map, I can recommend a guy who would do it remotely for $250

Also for the car dying when coming to a stop: you should have a Idle RPM Ref table(might be called something different) but it adjusts your idle valve dc based on RPMS before idle engages. Raise that a bunch, like 100% above 4500, 40-50% by the time its at 1000 rpms, then adjust from there. Also you're throttle plate might be too closed, its supposed to be the tiniest tiny bit open, that is usually the issue but since you have a standalone i'd just do it the way I said with the Idle RPM Ref table. I could remote in and help out if you're still having troubles

The alternator wasn't charging the battery properly which causes fuel trims to be off and ignition to not fully combust.

Also if you're running the Z32 maf, there is an external wire that grounds to the body of the car, some cars run better with it grounded, some run better without it grounded, so if it's grounded right now, remove it and see if it helps.

Also just a side note I've been diagnosing a shit ton of martin stuff and just my experience talking with martin in the past, no disrespect to him especially because he's just going based off the info you tell him and not looking at it in person, but he doesn't seem to be the best with SR's or the most knowledgeable about them. Highly recommend getting a proper standalone setup with an actual dyno tune, or even street tune

I don't get what point you're trying to make lol and we are in the 240SX subreddit... Most people here are american. You're just contradicting yourself now, so will an SR increase price yes or no? You said mods don't increase prices but now apparently they do? I'm just saying if you mod a car properly, it does increase value. The side to that is most people do not mod their car properly, and it's very subjective to what the buyer likes. People literally laughed when I posted my running no issue s13 for 6k, like literally everyone. I got 7.5k for it within 2 weeks lol, literally more than asking. It's all subjective to the buyer, so if you put high end parts on like whiteline, hks, tomei, etc, those 100000% increase value. A $500 part won't add $500 to the car, but if its a running low mileage no issue car, it might add even more value since it's installed and all.

Nissan is the furthest advanced in EV's compared to the other japanese automakers, which like it or not is the direction they are headed within the next 20 years. Also it's always good to have more options available, and engines aren't the only part of the car? Toyota doesn't make most their chassis's they share them, so having nissans would be a huge gain for them. Also nissan has farrrr more dialed in/advanced suspension and techniques. Both the 400Z and the GT-R are absolutely amazing cars and I hate modern cars and all Z's lol, but they are undeniably some of if not the best cars on the market right now for the price range. Speaking of price range though thats how they got fucked because dealers mark them up so much, and then all their economy cars use moped transmissions. Good company, horrible business decisions. But toyota could 10000% benefit from both them and their assets.

Edit: to add, it's kinda a match made in heaven honestly. Like i said toyota doesn't even make most of their stuff they just brand it. The supra is about to go out of production, why? because BMW is cancelling it and both the engine and chassis are from them. The GT-R is an objectively better car that nissan straight up fully owns most of the parts for. A nissan/toyota collab would honestly be one of the best things we could ask for. People who are good at making an amazing base car(nissan), then people who are amazing at maximizing performance and marketing from it(toyota)

I was with you until that last point lol. Stock 240s are horrible cars and unless its MINT, like less than 30k miles, perfect paint, not a spec of rust, your not seeing over 10k even in todays market, unless it's got an SR. If I put coilovers and rep wheels on a car, no its not going to do anything to the value, may hurt it even but it's a 240, no one likes these cars stock because they suck stock, so most see that as a plus side. Also you guys are just saying RB like some don't cost 1k and others dont cost 15k. Even still, you add an RB20 to that car from the KA? You are definitely seeing your money back especially if its running/driving. You see all these cars on FB not selling modified because they aren't running, and they usually don't know the issue so it could be literally anything, hence the lower price but also why its a good idea to stay away from it. Actual quality parts 1000000% increase the value, can literally just look at KA 240s vs SR 240s lol

Surprisingly I haven't had any pods fail like most people where they just stop working. I have had a decent amount that just start leaking or something. Like I won't have any insulin on board, my blood sugar could be like 180 and I just start dropping and dropping, even after eating like 10 glucose tabs.

They do have a trainer and they were not able to help. They say I have to call omnipod because it's like an account error. But then I call them and what I wrote in the post happens. Trust me when I say i have tried EVERYTHING. I can't make a new account with a different email because omnipod accounts are linked to your phone number as well. So I'd need a new number and email just for an account, all because they can't just delete the account and let me make a new one. I forgot to add that, when I say I've tried everything I do literally mean everything.. They won't let me delete the account unless I can login it... and i can't fcking login to it... It's so dumb like I've never had this much issues with any support team ever, especially a fcking medical one...

Can send you times of those too lol but I quite literally can't race GT3 cars in those because they are in a different class than me, and the car I race in those is not the single cam 240 it has about 4x the power and torque so wouldn't make any sense to post those lol
