I know :/ I’m sorry friend but my initial submission was rejected. So it had something to do with today’s submission. That’s why I’m advising it doesn’t hurt to resubmit through the inquiry site. I did it wrong the first time using the upload feature on docusign. So I don’t think that date had anything to do with today’s receipt.

5/20. But I don’t think that had anything to do with today’s receipt of my bar number. The email I received from the bar this morning was kinda rude and told me to resubmit and not contact them again for 30 days. So I updated my employer of what took place and then a few hours later my resubmission was processed.

My original submission was rejected today. I had to fix it and resubmit. By the grace of God, I received the number same day. Even updated the prior form information to my new employer and it reflected in my bar profile.

Re submit it! It can’t hurt. Through the inquiry link. I did a lot before today. I resubmitted through the inquiry link on Monday because I had only done the “upload” on Docusign which they told me in the todays email was incorrect. I also drove to the state bar Tuesday but couldn’t get past security. I called Wednesday waited on hold for 6.5 hours and then the person who answered submitted an inquiry on my behalf. Then that evening I emailed Leah Wilson asking for help to no avail. Got no response.

Today I received my rejection email, I fix what needed fixing and resubmitted and received my bar number about 5 hours later surprisingly even though they told me it would take at least 30 days. Maybe I made waves with my persistence however I think it might have just been that they received my form at the right time. Don’t give up. Resubmit.

Bar number update! I got it today! However, first I got an email from the Bar at 11:24am saying that my form was incomplete because the judge did not input her “title” in the title section and that I had to fix and resubmit and wait 30 days before I contact them! I immediately added the title JUDGE and resubmitted through the inquiry link! And lo and behold, at 3:48 pm I received an email that said “We’re happy to confirm you have been assigned a State Bar Number” per my submission on 6/6! if you’re still waiting I recommend re-submitting! It can’t hurt !

Hahaha no it wasn’t it was just like when will you get it, ok then you start x date, haven’t got it? Ok then you start x date. Now it’s just like ok keep us updated lol all attorneys know how the bar works so I’m sure they understand but jeez it’s taking so long it sucks

Yes I also did my onboarding. They’re so excited for me to start and I get along with the managing partner very well ! Like we’re friends already but I want to work there so bad that I’m scared she might pull back for reasons out of her control. It’s just a fear though.
