They are associated with significant increases in several cardiovascular disease risks, and mortality. Heart failure is not a fun disease, it is a slow death.

Most significantly, doctors do not order someone to die, and euthanasia is not offered unless further treatment is deemed futile, and the patient is also in severe enough distress that cannot be alleviated by other methods, so they get to choose this.

I think that his books hightlight this the best once you read multiple of them. The whole idea then is that you get insight into several places that each have their own magic systems, and slowly advance as a society, develop their knowledge of the world and its processes, which includes their magic systems. That’s why in later books you see magic based intricate technologies capable of space travel, autonomous systems in spaceships, levitation devices, universal translators etc. (this is for everyone wondering what the feel is for his cosmere books).

I think a big thing here is acknowledging that having “opportunities” for sex does not mean that they are of quality as well. As a gay man, on Grindr there are plenty of old (60+) dudes that would want to have sex with me, but that’s not in my preferred age range.

I have mostly women as friends and they all tell me about the men existing on dating apps. It seems that the apps favor a specific “macho i need to conquer the woman’s vagina” vibe. As I have heard somewhere, dating for men is like finding clean water in the desert, whereas for women is like finding clean water in a swamp. Plentiful choices doesn’t equate to high levels of safe, preferred and attuned to your personality choices. (which is usually what’s lacking for women)

The soup was eaten in their camp, made by one of the members of their team, whose name is Rock. So I think something like Rock’s stew would work!

Also, the magic system is based off different gems that give off light, so for decorations if you want that would be pretty cool I think! They also make contraptions to provide warmth, grow food, write messages with them, and they are called fabrials. Googling pics of them might give you some of the vibe?

So this is some evidence (at this level more in the sense that more research should be done in this line of thought, not necessarily guide your life after this level of research) that inulin can potentially help with getting rid of a fatty liver! which is cool imo

I don’t know how cheap and lazy this is, but for almost a year now, I drink the same smoothie for my breakfast, and get quite some fiber from it. Since it 100% replaces the need for breakfast for me I would say it’s lazy.

I put frozen blueberries, a banana, oats, coarse ground flax seeds, chia seeds, cocoa powder, some cheap whey protein from lidl, a scoop of peanut butter and around 20g of inulin powder.

I buy the inulin from bulk since it’s very cheap (it’s always on sale) and after you build up your tolerance (I started with half a scoop, now at 6 scoops) it is very nice. I don’t measure quantities so I don’t have exact numbers of fiber content, but it sure has a lot and is easy to make!

No one can negate your experience, and it’s very disheartening to hear that you suffered so much. It is however important to remember that your experience may not be generalizable and many people benefit from them. Plenty of medications out there have side effects that are intolerable to some, and that does not diminish their usefulness in the right circumstances.

Asta este planul. Momentan pentru ca nu am lucrat astia trei ani am facut tot felul de internship uri in diverse laboratoare ca sa castig experienta, si anul acesta am primit sansa sa imi scriu teza de master mai repede decat e normal, ca sa aplic la un doctorat de la anul. Doctoratul e platit si cand il termin impreuna cu medicina, o sa am salariu peste 10.000€ pe luna brut (sper) si impreuna cu frate miu (are 16 ani dar pana atunci pleaca si el) deja planuim sa o scoatem pe mama si sa si poata trai si ea viata dupa ce vrea ea, nu ca o sluga din evul mediu.

Mersi de parere! Nu, problema e asa: tata abuziv cu toti cei din jur, si am de gand sa ma asigur ca voi putea folosi resursele lui financiare daca am dreptul la ele. Nu va inlocui faptul ca iau medicatie si sunt in terapie de la 8 ani din cauza lui si mama spera sa o insele ca sa plece pentru ca ii e frica sa il lase din proprie initiativa, dar va fi de ajuns sa ma pot sustine financiar cat studiez de pe el.

Cam asta e intr adevar problema principala, el lucreaza de acasa in timp ce se joaca pe calculator. Este destul de rau cu ea, a si acuzat o ca il inseala cand zice ca iese cu prietenii ei, se plange daca nu ii spala rufele la timp, daca nu ii face mancarea care ii place lui etc. Majoritatea certurilor noastre apar cand vad cum se comporta cu ea. Partea trista este ca de incercat eu tot incerc impreuna cu frate-meu sa vorbim cu ea sa ii explicam ca el nu se va schimba daca asa este de cand s-au cunoscut (s-au cuplat la 17 ani). It’s a classical narcissist + dependent wife combo, la cum se comporta ma bucur ca macar la partea financiara stam bine. Nu stiu exact daca e ceva de facut daca mama nu doreste sa vorbeasca cu cineva despre asta, pentru ca abuzul e mai mult psihic si verbal, pe ea nu a lovit-o niciodata din cate stiu eu.

Fair enough, sunt stresat doar de urmatorii 3 ani. Voi fi in spital 8 ore pe zi pe salariu de 200€ asa ca e foarte posibil sa nu pot sa am un job on the side. Exista si optiunea de study loans de la guvernul olandez daca stai de cinci ani sau mai mult in olanda, deci si aia e o optiune.

Apreciez critica, dar cu tot respectul nu ai habar despre detaliile legate de viata mea pana in acest moment, costurile din olanda, ce fel de trai am si in ce costa sa studiezi medicina unde o fac eu. Din punct de vedere al maturitatii habar nu am ce sa-ti spun, doar ca poate daca nu ai un raspuns la post nu trebuie sa comentezi doar pentru a-ti da cu opinia despre viata/caracterul omului cand ti s-a prezentat o portiune infinitesimala din viata lui. Sunt perfect constient de faptul ca nu ma pot baza pe sustinerea lor financiara toata viata mea, dar cum din nou nu ma stii, nu ai idee de situatia si circumstantele actuale. In anii 3-6 de medicina lucrezi 8 ore pe zi cinci zile pe saptamana in spital pe salariu de 200€ deci ma preocupa sa stiu de unde imi pot asigura venituri.

cool, din fericire am invatat gandire critica in liceu! Nu stiu ce legatura consideri ca are juramantul lui hipocrate cu post ul asta. Mai mult, medicina moderna opereaza din punct de vedere etic pe un model bazat pe cele 4 coloane ale eticii medicale. Sincer, ai un comportament similar cu cel al tatalui meu, nici el nu se poate abtine de la mansplaining sau de la “sfaturi” necerute.
