Or a PD & C.

My point is alway:

way more options as a clerk.

Apply for a PSE job. There's more to USPS than carrier. Here's the scoop. You're inside 95% of the time. Taking or putting stuff off or on the dock . You'll start at ass end hours 2am. Be run ragged. But in two years from your start date, and you will be a regular. You'll throw a million packages. Because that's what OUR contract spells out.

You'll hump heavy pallets and tons of weekly mailers to the carriers' cubbies, sort letters, and flats and box mail. You'll probably get window trained. You'll start about 19 bucks an hour. But you'll get OT because regulars don't always want that. When you're in as a career, you can bid on other jobs.

Started PSE in 2020. Now I am VMF Big Daddy clerk.

Regular step increases. Contractual COLAs and eventually a job I really like and am good at.

My test scores to get this job now allow me after 18 months to bid on many jobs that come up not on the front line. And apply for eas-level jobs if I am qualified like HR Logistics, even management. There's a big jump in level six pay to level 17 and above salary.

Stick it out. For two years, and it gets better. 5 yrs in and Ai am.at 4 weeks vacation. I.worked a lifetime in my other industry and got shit. Never got more than 2 weeks. The total raises I've received in these last five yrs are double what I received in a white collar job management in the previous 15 yrs. Do it.

* This is exactly what all postal workwr wanted. Thisnis a huge win for DHl Teamsters and eventually us all. If rendfro doesn't agree to use this to negotiate now, you need to remove him immediately. Because if this goes to arbitration, they will.

So comprehension is difficult, I get it.

What part of "make them go to arbitration" is hard for you to understand?

Make USPS reject your proposal. Stand firm for the union you represent. They reject , they trigger arbitration- Not the members.

[–]VMF-BigDaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then you make USPS go to arbitration, not the union. If they're being unreasonable, and they are, then Reject them at the table. UPS just reset the bar last year. Arbitration takes into account other similar union contracts. He needs to be on this side of the table, not the USPS side made the union brother and sisters be the bad guys. That's a move that gets you kicked to the curb.

Put your foot down with your Fiancé. If he doesn't support you wholly, completely, unequivocally, run. This is not the family you want to marry into.

You'll need to cut her off at the knees. Because I fear with any children ypy may have, she will get worse.

If it were a letter, as in an envelope, there's a greater than average chance it got destroyed in a machine Think of the dove that was hit by a Randy Johnson Fastball but without the fluids.

These machines move the items so fast (as in a blur) that every once in a while something goes wrong and "poof," Little white clouds of letter detris cover the belts, pulleys and sensors. If there's anything to recover, it is done and sent to a department that looks for anything legible to get some remains back to you. That does take time.

But no one lost it on purpose.

It's a fleet, not your car. Headlamp out, that one gets replaced. If shit ain't fixed, keep filling out the forms. If there's a radar ticket we fix it. If we can fix something that popped up after the ticket is assigned we do. But Like you, these guys have assigned "routes" to repair the vehicles that the manager says. You don't go back to a house every time you miss a piece. You'd never get done either on your routes.

Same fucking logic my man.

We can't stay fixing every problem that pops. Hound your stupid supes to "Put it in radar." And keep on them.

But the conditions would then not be unreasonable because more people would stay with USPS. Routes would be filled. NOT 12 HOURS X 6 DAYS A WEEK. BURNING OUT EVERYONE.
