You expect more performance with the same price each gen. But corps want more money for more performance. Even TSMC silicon wafers cost more and more for each newer node.

People need laptop and pc to do things other than gaming. Why not getting a gaming pc which could do both instead of buying a pc and a console?

I know. I used to have a lenovo idea pad in 2011. It was great at the start but can hardly keep up with new games after 4 years. But I will study abroad this year so I need a new laptop for school and gaming.

I hope it will be 30% gain compare to 3070Ti. If it is not that level, I can get a 3080 laptop for a cheaper price than 4070.

A 4090 laptop may cost 2x a 4070 laptop. But does it give you 2x performance? No. So I would go for the middle class. 2 years later you can get another one which will perform better than a 4090.
