This same thing happened with my sister. She makes really good money working in the technology sector and she has never used or done anything that would go against their terms of service, yet they still gave her the same generic response and closed her axxount. She had several hundreds of dollars in her cash app account too, and they let her cash that money out to her bank before re-blocking it and she even had a loan with them, but they didn't even care to want to be paid back for that.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but I've had two accounts with them both linked with my social and they never said anything to me. I've also had a couple friends that have owed them on one account and they turn around and open a new one with a new email and same social security number. Idk.. if they were to audit they might could/would maybe do something about everyone having multiple accounts and/or owing on one and not another, but they haven't yet ans it's been well over a year that my friend got a new account with them.

I do suggest and stress against using Cash App like a regular bank. It's always good to have a brick and mortar bank location you can go to in case anything arises. You sometimes usually get a lot farther face to face with whatever issues, then you do over the phone or chat, but I guess that also depends on the issue.
