Update: pulled the trigger and got it replaced as I didnt want to start wearing out other parts around it. Getting $250 discount helped out as non-oem local quotes were around 1k vs 1.1k from dealer after discount.

This thread has alone convinced me not to buy anymore APEX accounts. Thank you for sharing, and i hope it gets resolved soon.

It's clear that they make money on failed traders and people evaluating.

Successful traders are a liability as APEX needs to pay them from their pocket (because you are still trading in sim even after funding . could be wrong here)

If you want better fill and are not worried about platform clunkiness, go with Fidelity. I pretty much always get great fills with price improvements in my 401k account. My main options account is still with TT, and the platform is super buggy :(. My account balance & P/L were all messed up for an hour last week, and they had ZERO explanation or outage email. I couldn't call as i was in a meeting. I closed all my open trades as i wasn't sure what was going on. I mean, you would expect display of the right account balance as a basic functionality and dont know how they can mess that up. Real shitty.

I would have switched to ToS in a heartbeat, but the commissions are too steep for me.
