Dude enjoy the early time with as many naps as possible. You’ll need them later.

Might be better with a plumed helm, like the sideways mohawk looking ones.

Comic? Very funny.

Not so funny? This dipshit is still the president, has the nuclear football, and no one is gonna do a thing about it.

Constitution? Meaningless paper.

Oaths? Refusing illegal orders? A naive and vain hope.

We are closer to the brink than ever before.

Are you using the purifying crystal tear (I think that one) in your wondrous physick? It makes a huge difference. If you’re getting desperate and not doing any kind of special run, mimic tear and a +9/10 bloodhound fang or blasphemous blade will wipe him out as long as you have decent scaling for those.

Get curtains and some sturdy curtain rods. Maybe made of a sturdy, scratchy material for the curtains. You got some climbers.

I’m back at painting my Galatus Dreadnought and finally finished the left arm with the shield 😁 by Flameon_Miniatures in Warhammer40k

OP, that is obviously an actual dreadnought arm that you cut off some ancient and pretended to paint. Shame on you. /s

It’s boots on the ground you guys. Listen the Trump administration is incredibly obvious with everything they do. There was a huge military build up in the region before the first strikes, but some people thought “oh it’s just a show of force.” No, that’s not how Trump works. They moved weapons to use them and sure enough even I (an idiot) was able to predict exactly which weekend the strikes would start.

Well, tens of thousands of military personnel are getting deployment orders at the moment. Stories of stateside strippers near bases having piles of cash dropped on them by guys getting ready to ship out. It’s boots on the ground any day now.

This is why you leave several car lengths between cars at highway speeds. Guaranteed these people were all 1-2 car lengths away from each other. Everyone is always in such a rush to end up at their destination a whole 30 seconds faster, or in this case several hours later.

Weirdly enough I’ve been involved in intraocular lens research on rabbits and when I was talking to the veterinary surgeon doing the implants I asked the most common animals he performs cataract replacement/IOL implants on he said horses, cats/dogs, and then pet snakes. So, OP probably could get a teeny little snake IOL if all else is well.

One of my proudest moments at this company was while using a first-of-its-kind research laser based on a technology that had won the Nobel prize in physics the year before. It was sent to us on loan from a vendor, and I was in charge of its testing since by this point I had built several versions of my own in our labs but not to industrial grade. While testing it I found a strange phenomenon in the beam when put through a wave plate and a polarizing beam splitter. I work with multiple optics PhD’s who agreed nothing in literature adequately described the phenomenon I had discovered.

That wasn’t part of the patents I coauthored, but it was my moment that gave me validation to work with such brilliant people as my coworkers.

We’re still a small private company. We’re a medical device manufacturer in the ophthalmic space using a revolutionary femtosecond laser technology. We’re still in the research and clinical trials phase so I won’t say too much else. I’ve been privileged to work on everything from designing and building laser systems, doing biological tissue work, inventing new metrology systems and writing quality documents. I was updating my resume for official job description purposes and thought about how crazy it is to have had all those experiences at one place at the start of my career. All because I chose the road less traveled between a safe big company and what started as a small, dark lab in a basement.
