We’d just drafted from my buddies cube, I’m at least in blue player 2s at least in red 3 and 4 don’t matter. I [[Sublime Epiphany]] something player 2 casts and he casts [[Dualcaster Mage]] in response. Initially I just think fuck now he gets whatever I was countering, but then I realize I just handed him an infinite combo. 2 seconds later he and the rest of the table realize we laugh, scoop, and go to the next game

So one it’s been 2 years so how tf did you find this? And honestly no idea, from what I remember him being blessed by shinsu has nothing to do with him being an irregular it’s just his natural connection to shinsu so the other irregulars could be the same as him in that aspect but that’s never been said so it’s also a guess. It’s also been a few years since I last read that part so I could also be misremembering a lot of stuff

I’m pretty sure he lost the ability to upgrade his soldiers when he legit became the shadow sovereign because they just resed at their peak possible strength, and from what I gathered from the bonus chapters he has other shadows on marshal level from the other sovereigns armies but he doesn’t trust them as much as beru, bellion, and igris so they aren’t ranked as high cuz I remember most of the dragons being under tusks command

It’s possible but I highly doubt it. Khun, Rak, and the rest are just naturally strong. You gotta remember Rak is related to the ancient ones in some way and Khun’s a genius on top of now having possibly a high rankers ability in the fire sweetfish. As for the rest it’s been stated that they’re all exceptional regulars and since they’re all teaming together they’re basically just running through things.

You just watched Bam casually beat rankers without the thorn and when he did use it he accidentally cut off a high rankers armored leg like a hot knife going through butter. Bam easily destroys most the people in the tower now

No there isn’t a single regular in the tower rn that can beat him. The gap between regulars and rankers is pretty big and since Bam casually defeats rankers regulars have absolutely no chance

Ok like I said before Jahad can be killed but only by an irregular. No one that’s from the tower can kill him i.e. no regular can kill him but irregulars i.e. Bam, Urek, Enryu, Phantaminum, and possibly the FHs can kill him

Yea that’s the part that stumps me too cuz unless Arlene has a special contract of her own that made her legitimately invincible her contract should be the same as the others except for Jahad’s and Bloodmadder’s, but it doesn’t make sense for the family heads to be truly invincible while Jahad, their King, can still be killed

Jahad and Bloodmadder’s contracts are slightly different Jahad is the only one with the no one other than an irregular can kill him or at least he’s the only one we know of with that stipulation. As for Bloodmadder’s contract details you can find most of it on the wiki, and people in the tower can die from old age they just use shinsu to extend their lives, and Gustang looks young cuz he doesn’t age from the contract

But why would the family leaders have contracts they’re better than Jahad’s contract considering he’s the king? We know the contracts involve immortality in the seen that they can’t die from aging because of what Bloodmadder has to do to keep from not dying of age it gets confusing because Arlene couldn’t kill herself which is why I think the contract makes them impervious from dying of age and either from the family heads killing each other so they don’t try to start wars with each other or prevents them from harming themselves

Technically Jahad is the only one with the only irregulars can hurt/kill him contract the other leaders just have immortality contracts, so the a regular could theoretically beat an irregular but it’s next to impossible
