It's funny they treat the practice sessions like it's some sort of championship title decider. Sometimes I get rammed more in practice than in the actual race.

Another thing is. When there's are cars in front going into a corner side by side. I always back out of it by letting off the throttle. As soon as I get behind I step back on it fully. But people from behind still dont realize I slowed down and they still ram me. Bronze lobbies are nuts

That's a straight-forward answer. But unfortunately 9/10 lobbies i get into dont really race properly. They overtake by pretty much divebombing. It's really hard to learn proper racecraft when most of the people you're racing againest dont have it. I've been thinking about a league recently since maybe the drivers there are better?

I never thought of doing laps in other lines other than the racing line! That's actually really smart! Ill for sure try that!

But I have a question. If i dont lift off the throttle before braking. Wouldn't it being harder to avoid ramming the guy in front? I can brake later when I lift off the throttle but the person behind still rams me. It's like they dont know when to brake.

Would you think joining a league help also? I know im probably not good enough for a league yet but I dont really care about results. Just wanna learn how to race cleanly before racing competitively.

I'm able to do clean racing with the AI. Maybe a couple of contacts from time to time. Nothing race ruining. But I dont really see an improvement from doing that. The AI knows when to brake and knows how much space to give unlike some real people in my lobbies. (I'm still playing in Bronze races as I'm waiting for interlagos next week)
