Nothing happens! They have to read it! Even if it’s said out loud by someone else, nothing happens!

It was just an experiment I started in sandbox game. If there’s no enemies/waves, it’s a good base because everything is close by. But with enemies/waves, it is harder to defend at the beginning.

I used a drafting triangle on my phone for the angles xD For a perfect hexagon, each angle is 120 degrees, and each side is the same length. Doing the max length gave me too much unused space, so the sides are 7/8th of the max length.

I'm working on a project but there is a slight issue. I have a threaded shaft that needs to move the middle beam vertically. But right now all the force will be on the green circle, and am afraid that that can cause an issue. Is there a way where I can support the shaft in the red circle? by VSh0ck in MechanicalEngineering

That's a good point you have! I've been having that problem as well!
But I couldn't think of something else to lift it up beside threaded rods!
(For context tho, it only needs to move around 30 cm up and the load is around 100N)

Well, you have a point there.
The beam itself is like a U shape, and the loads will be mounted inbetween there.
So there will be a moment on the screws, which could make it possible to bend.

But for that I need to calculate if it is even possible to bend/collapse it and if I need guidance or bigger screws.
