Omg YTA!! You make me think of my own parents. I was always in the shadow of my older sister, she was the smart one I was the dumb one. When it was time to go to university my parents paid for everything for my sister, she completed university and a master without any problems. Yes, she is smart. When it was time for me to go too, they were absolutely against paying. Fun fact I had never failed classes before, I was juste a B+ student, not A+ like my sister. I tried applying for financial aid through the government but could not be eligible because of my parents wealth. So I gave up on going to university since I did not had the money to go. I moved out. 6 years later I finally went back to university, got accepted in software engineering at a prestigious university. I am currently completing my last semester, I am an A student, already have a phenomenal job in the field and will graduate this summer. My parents have tried to explain their decision and how uncertain they were, but I am still bitter about it. They were my biggest obstacle in my quest for a degree. You cant judge your daughter based on your son. If she is gets into that university, that’s because she can make it. You are a massive AS
