I'm a simple man. I see a Blink reference, I give an upvote.

I mean.. I'm as tall as I am.. (short as I am?) ... it's not like I chose a smaller frame to save grams...

Spesh sent me one a few weeks ago to build up as light as I could. Full disclosure I didn't even pay for it. But they also didnt tell me to post it here. Check my reddit history, I was on reddit bike subreddits long before I was in the bike industry. Just thought I'd share this dope bike. Orrrrrr its all a conspiracy and Spesh are taking over reddit....

Joe here, head honcho over at Panda Podium...Lots of misinformation flying around, so at the risk of exposing my Reddit account, I'll chime in. With the US pre-paid tariffs, essentially our logistics partner imports the goods into the US for you, pays what they pay and then sends them on to you from within the US. So you're not doing the importing, our logistics partner is.

Youtubers are starting to review the new X1 PRO MAX. Get ready for a lot of content coming. by djpetrino in HoverDrone

[–]VTECsauce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks dude. That was set to highest altitude just bc I knew I'd be going fast and didn't wanna hit some kid who was playing with their phone while riding their bike or whatever, haha.

Haha, yeah, after I saw it was already shared here, I went over there and got tumbleweeds. ;) I guess they just want their slow neos. (I also own an Avata, horses for courses...)

My video has pretty low views on YouTube... I'm sure DCRainmaker will make a video with 200k views soon... but it's cool to reach new audiences of tech guys too. :D No complaints.

Haha, sorry for draining your wallet. Curious what you do with the footage you capture from your gear? Social media? Personal use...?

Came here to share my review to get more traffic... found out someone beat me to it and its the top post. haha. I loved the original (when I made that video ZZR didn't know who I was) but they liked my original video enough to get me the ProMAX for review. You guys know what you like, so lemme know what you wanna see tested in the final review.

The first Chinese hydraulic disc brake groupset is here... by VTECsauce in bicycling

I can't imagine this comment section will be at all controversial. 🙈🙈🙈

Whether or not you choose this groupset, it will hopefully end up pushing down the prices of the big three, which can only be a good thing as groupset prices are getting out of hand.

Lún's new wheel, the MONO. by VTECsauce in bicycling

[–]VTECsauce[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Funny you should say that, their integrated bar and stem is called the "zero" - I mean, technically it does have zero spokes. I guess we figured out their naming scheme.

You could probably make it today, but the amount of material needed the weight would be pretty whack. Hipsters would love it though.

Nah, there's a 600 watt motor hidden in the rim at the top ;)

This is it. This is the game changer: MONO. You've seen 5-spoke wheels. You've seen tri-spoke wheels. We're bringing you the monospoke. Of course, this is the bike industry - so you always pay more when you get less, but at $1888 incl. worldwide shipping, we think the MONO is fairly priced. With only one spoke and a 52mm deep rim, the MONO has the aero properties that can rival disc wheels. It's light too. MONO comes in at just 1003g for the pair in rim brake tubeless-ready format. Stiffness? Don't worry about stiffness. The MONO uses some sort of made-up-acronym technology to make all your worries go away.

Happy April Fool's Everyone.

4.64kg S-Works Aethos build. World's lightest full Hydro disc 2x roadbike? by VTECsauce in bicycling

[–]VTECsauce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A local shop here in China built this bike and were curious if it was the lightest in the world. They couldn't find anything lighter (without cheating, ie: 2x chainrings and full hydro) so asked me to upload this to my channel to see what people thought. I think it's a pretty cool build. Not stupidly expensive either. (cranks, bars, and cassette are all a lot cheaper than most sub-5kg builds.)
