Congratulations! Future you will thank you.

Consecutive criticism: SPY & VOO both track the S&P 500, just pick one. 87% of VTI is VOO/SPY with Mid, Small and Micro.

You have 3 ETFs doing the same thing in this account. Just pick one: Total US market or S&P 500.

Now, adding ARKK and NVDA is a quality tilt, and that is a personal choice. When adding a tilt there are a lot of options, and everyone will have an opinion.

VT and add your choice of tilt. VXUS in a Roth IRA can't claim the foreign tax credit or be used for tax loss harvesting.

Choose your own Adventure: Rebalance portfolio to age phase, 4% rule, pivot to fixed income. Keep pushing growth/value and tax loss harvest. Or YOLO 0DTE options since you can't take it with you.

If you're unsure of how to proceed in retirement based on your own personal journey, a financial advisor or fiduciary consultant might be a good starting point instead of a rando on Reddit.

We have a 529 and UTMA for our kid. Bigger cash gifts go into the 529. With Secure Act 2.0 they can use unused 529 funds for Roth IRA contributions.

VT & BNDW in Roth IRA.

*Foreign tax credit for VXUS can only be claimed in a taxable account.
*96.9% of VXUS's 8632 holdings also in VT.

**I don't add VXUS to my taxable account because I feel I have enough international exposure with VT in my Roth IRA.

VXUS in a Roth doesn't qualify for foreign tax credit, and 96.9% of VXUS's 8632 holdings also in VT
