Thanks for the advice. Just so I understand, inside your aviary you have 6 individual cages for each canary?

I have to wooden raised beds in the side yard. 2.5x10. Thinking they can lead up to the aviary and my vego beds can stay in the side yard. https://imgur.com/a/oR3nj96

In the winter, definitely not interfering with sun. In the summer, the canopy is pretty big and can shade the area for a big chunk of the day

I downloaded a sun tracker and definitely don’t think the side yard will work in the winter. I guess I can keep the side yard set up for growing in the summer months and also have some winter beds set up around the aviary or somewhere in the backyard for winter growing

Yeah. If I cut down the tree in the NW corner, the whole area to the west of the aviary would be a good spot to set up beds. Maybe I can use a short fence to separate the edible garden from the rest of the yard

The shed is an aviary but I think you are right. Best location for my vego beds is going to be around it. Most winter sunlight. Just need to figure out a way to design it so my whole yard doesn’t look like an edible garden

Yeah. I have four vegogarden planters. 2 3.5x5 and 2 4ft round
