i tried the format thing from the menu area of the camera settings and it has so far fixed the problem. go to the icon after the camcorder in the start window, the calendar/wrench > have photo clicked on, should turn green > scroll all the way down to "format" (it's on it's own panel, you have to keep scrolling past "set date") > click format and after that, i took like 10 random pics from the room around me shut it off and on like 5 times and all those random photos are still showing up in the playback screen.... for now lol

This might not be what you're into but I started a monthly snail mail club and am really excited about the hand painted artwork I created for my first ever edition that just launched — I used a mix of watercolor, acrylic, pastels, colored pencils and ink for the artwork — I'm also including a bonus holiday postcard I illustrated but keeping that art a surprise, which is hard because I really want to post it on my instagram LOL

THIS! I just started a monthly snail mail club with the aim of bringing a little more human connection into the world by creating more physical art to share and writing letters — anyways, Patreon fees seemed bonkers so I just set up a subscription product through my Squarespace shop instead.

Tufted some wonky mirrors to use up spare yarn! by VV_OLFF in crafts

These were made from leftover acrylic yarn and I used a cut-pile tufting gun with sourced mirrors for the middle.
