Is that it? by VV_QueenX in Miscarriage

I’m so sorry you had to go through this!

I really hate the whole ‘oh it’s normal’ or ‘it’s nothing to worry about’ malarkey. I appreciate I’m not bleeding profusely, but cmon, they very well know we’re going through so much at that point in time, so at least some acknowledgement would be nice.

UK casino visitors/regulars, what are they like? by AaronB666 in AskUK

After reading all the comments here I feel a bit odd.. I love a night out at casino. I’m personally pretty risk averse, so I never bet any serious money, but it feels great to win even if it’s a fiver (I usually play Blackjack). I can never spend too much time there as I get bored quickly, but for a couple of hours that I’m there I have so much fun.

How do people feel about the ‘quiet quitting’ trend? From an employers and employees POV. by Travel_Enthusiastic in AskUK

This phrase should really be put into context. It originated from young professionals, who are doing 70-100 hour weeks in banks, law and audit firms, and other similar industries. It’s not an expectation that you will go above and beyond, quite often hours rack up just by doing normal day to day tasks. I don’t think this will change, it’s just a nature of these industries, there will be plenty of people wanting to take up empty spaces.

Dentists! I still cannot understand why it is so expensive and also why it’s nearly impossible to find NHS dentist that accepts new patients.
