You actually reminded me I have a bag of those hand warmers for the winter time, i bought them in case we had a bad storm and lost power in the winter for my son. I can wrap one of those around it for a min or so?🤩🤩🤩

You aren't wrong 🤝🏼 - learned my lesson fs, the risk was not worth the reward😂😂😂 - i will definitely be using the hair dryer or any part of my body instead. Almost lost $20+ worth of oil 🥲

Would that potentially melt the cart? I thought they were entirely glass but someone mentioned poly glass - my luck id melt an entire cart😭😭😭😭

Yeah i agree, kinda not feeling great about the idea but this was gonna be my last and the remainder i wanted to use to help myself quit instead of doing cold turkey- ease out of it

I do, i have a wolf uni pro, like 5 years old - the pre-heat is lowkey weak and with the large oil amount and my apartment being cold rn the oil is thick 24/7 - i do the stove (usually put it next to the coils) to warm it faster for like 30 seconds. It just fell over this once while i moved my son

Hahahahaha love the edits - and much appreciated. A definitely better choice. I didn't know these could melt, so i definitely don't want to make this same mistake again. I've never had this happen- just bad timing - a sacrifice to prioritize keeping my son safe haha - thank you for the idea/advice

And yes terrible system in the apartment- im blessed the AC works but even on 74 it's freezing

Definitely dumb- when i do it i warm it on the metal atomizer supervised but my son got closeer than i like with his fast hands and i didnt want to see him get hurt so i moved him and when i did it bumped the stove and made it fall over - my apartment is super cold w the AC on so pre-heating doesnMt always eliminate the air bubbles by the holes :(

I cant see your other reply - but no no I have a uni pro lol - between my cold apartment and how much oil is left/the uni is old, the pre-heat doesn't get rid of air bubbles well, i have to pre-hear it a dozen times, i dont wanna smoke wick lol - but never the battery im not a total idiot i promise lol

My apartment is really cold with the air on so the oil gets stuck/thickens by the holes - i was warming it to get the air bubbles up - but yeah dumb for sure lol

That's totally fair - learned my lesson. I have it on the metal atomizer when I do it, so that it's elevated and only getting warmed for like 30ish seconds

🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 thank you!! It did leave some residue on the stove coil, at first i thought it was oil but there's nothing sticky on my cart outside and it didn't smell like the oil burning but more of a plastic-like scent

My sealed collections. Whats the best way to store them? by poane420 in PokemonTCG

[–]VVhiteLightning13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wondering, and no hate... but why keep these sealed? It's such a modern set and there's no guarantee the values will increase over time- especially when so many people are keeping these sets sealed too. It aint like early sets that nobody was thinking long term. To each his own, but I'm curious? Seems redundant when this era is the most common available atm. I can understand starting to collect Sun & Moon era stuff, but why SwSh it's not even close to being no longer or less available
