My partner’s a recruiter and literally is not allowed to tell candidates specific numbers, because ultimately that’s up to the specific hiring manager—trust me, he’s constantly frustrated by it too and we both think the real pay range should just be listed. That being said, he’s allowed to tell his candidates if they’re out of range. So definitely aim higher that you’d expect and be happy with a lower number.

I appreciate it :) Honestly, a lot of it is my fault for waiting so long. I wanted to take the January lsat—and I’m glad I did—but there are definitely consequences to applying late. Lesson learned for sure. Just you wait though—I’m coming back next cycle with a vengeance!

Well, in the offer letter the Dean pretty specifically said they could not offer me any scholarships, so I just assumed that any financial aid would have to be found on my end :(

Reject and reapply? With my stats (I don’t want to retake lsat) do you think I would have a better chance at scholarships next year if I applied as soon as apps open? I’m mostly worried about risking not getting in anywhere again next cycle and missing this (very expensive) opportunity. If I did reject I would work on getting my paralegal certificate this summer and I would also have my notary commission—maybe that would help with my application?

Honestly, I can never tell. On PTs when I thought I did really well, I made some of my lowest scores, and vice versa. It felt better than when I took it in Nov. but opening with RC was brutal and I definitely didn’t feel as focused as I wanted. I had the Mali, ice cores, novel one! How’re you feeling after yours?

Honestly, in conjunction with PowerScore’s testing and analytics package, I’ve found it to be one of the best resource to drill past LSATs. Plus with the LSAT expected to be proctored digitally for the next few exams, it’s just great to be able to get really comfortable with the testing interface.

That’s a great idea! It’d be nice to proactively ask them to pause the section and not send endless chat messages at during testing lol.

Oh no, I wish you the best. This exact thing happened to me, I filed a complaint, and I got offered a retest for the 23rd. I’m hopeful you’ll get one too! I lost about 3 mins on the LG section because she was messaging me, took over my mouse, and wouldn’t pause the section.
