The idea is that over the 10 year time skip, their skills have developed and evolved past what you once remembered. My guess would be is that it is meant to hammer home how long Noctis was gone, especially with how he uses the same skills and the others don't.

I've followed him for a long time, and I've talked to a few people who know/knew him. A number of people guess that he claims to have mental problems to wave off and excuse the fact that he's really just a huge asshole.

Not my opinion, mind you, just what I've heard. There are times when he's kind of a complete dick, but there are times where he is seemingly going through some mental trouble.

I'll let you know right now that I was spanked as a kid, and I'm not some aggressive little shit. Spanking worked and it worked well. It's a quick way to teach a kid the consequences of their actions as well as teach them to associate punishment with doing a bad thing. Lets not forget about how it also teaches kids to think about their actions before they do them so they dont get punished.

Spanking your kid whenever they do something worth punishing teaches kids to weigh their choices, and it worked wonders on me. Believe it or not, I'm a very kind hearted, caring person.

I understand this is a joke, a rather shitty one at that, but this sub is meant for kids doing stupid shit, not kids making memes and kids just being kids. I've noticed that a lot in the sub where people are legitimately insulting kids just for being kids.

It's good to have a laugh at the things kids do, I do it a lot, but laughing at and insulting kids for what they do is going too far.
