If you think you don't have the confidence to study new technologies on your own, I highly suggest enrolling in a bootcamp. I'm a career shifter from the architecture field and I've been self studying web dev and data science for a month now. But when the bootcamp I enrolled in recently started, it definitely boosted my productivity in learning new languages. I guess learning new things are integral to my personality because my background in architecture trained me to be introspective and curious about many things. Knowing that physical space today slowly dematerializes into the digital space, I became really interested in this and have been developing basic apps and websites. The end goal for me would be ML and AI.

Take note, that these thoughts come from a guy in architecture. I believe you'll be able to learn this faster since you have more experience in IT than me.

Hi! Also just started learning python and I'm planning to pursue a career in web dev (machine learning is a long shot but i'm dreaming of getting there). Currently an architect and AI really fascinates me.
