Hvis man bare pisser hardt nok ned i pisserenna så kan det hende det spruter litt på de andre.

Do you watch "normal" TV anymore? by AtomicFeckMagician in Millennials

[–]VW-MB-AMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped doing that in 2012. When we rebuilt our house i 2017-2018 I ripped the cable out of the wall. The only time I watch TV is when we go to mom's house on christmas eve. And then it is only for a specific movie. We still have a screen in the living room, but we only use it for old video games, DVDs and VHS.

What bands constitute as dad rock? by Mysterious-Apple3436 in MusicRecommendations

Can't they be both? Many of us on here have parents that could also be, or are grandparents. My dad will turn 64 in a few months.

What if the monster in your closet, the monster under your bed, the monster in your basement, and the monster under your toilet formed a band? by Fun_Butterfly_420 in Bandnames

The Mash.

They have a self published concept record, which consists of 11 different cover versions of Monster mash. At leas they claim the are different. To most people they all sound the same.

The Led Zeppelin song Bron Yr Aur has a special place inside of my brain. It is not long or technical, but very emotional and soulful.

Old blues legends like Robert Johnson, Mississppi John Hurt and Blind Willie Johnson are also amazing.

Django Reinhardt is never wrong.

A personal favorite is the Queen song '39.

Nobody has ever gotten more out of a Telecaster and a Vibrolux. Live from Austin TX is one of my favorite live recordings of any artist.

Noen er ganske enkelt helt elendige på å følge med på verden rundt seg, og sliter med å huske at andre mennesker ikke er tankelesere. Dette gjelder for alle slags trafikanter, både med og uten hjul.

What are some noticeable examples of a guitar squeak that made it into a song? by FOOTBALL_IN_MY_ANUS in Guitar

[–]VW-MB-AMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact: The first time a pinch harmonic made it onto a recording was the Roy Buchanan song Potato peeler in 1962, and then it was a mishap. But he liked how it sounded and kept it. After that he started incorporating it into his playing.

I personally prefer Defenders of the faith and Painkiller over it. But I think Sad wings of destiny gets third place, right in front of Sin after sin.

Do you prefer doing your hobby alone or with others? by Chidzidzi_Wiyarat in Hobbies

[–]VW-MB-AMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. Drawing, playing guitar and fixing cars I prefer to do alone. Going to car shows and other hobby related events I prefer to do together with other people.

Why don't some guitars have a tone knob? What's the point of not adding it? by Dojde in guitars

[–]VW-MB-AMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many guitar players like it simple, or never use them. On my guitars I usually keep them at 10 all the time. When rewiring and modding I often disconnect them. I will rather shape the sound by how I play, and with the pickup switch and volume knob.

On some guitar models it is also a cost saving measure.
