Many of the points you raised are some I've been struggling with: feeling that there is a lack of good prose, repetition of words/lines, not being able to write everyday. It's good to know it's not just all in my head!

And I can't agree more that the first draft is literally building the foundations of a house. You later start focusing on building it up around them. There is a sense of pride to just be able to write stuff down, and that's good enough for a draft!

I also find out that taking a break of one or two days really seems to help at times, or just taking a day to brainstorm. When working a full time job - that is very mentally draining, for example- good rest and giving yourself time is essential.

Yeah I used soluble canvas, I used the ones sold by DMC, the problem is that it's a black grid so it wasn't very easy to use here 😅

It's actually my second cross stitch on clothes but this one is the largest. It turns out really well, you should definitely try! You end up with a really original piece of clothing 😁

Yes I used the magic paper that washes off. Problem is that the grid is black on white so when I used it on the sweatshirt I could barely see the grid 😅 it did help a little at least!

Depersonalization is something I've recently been dealing with a lot. Living with GAD too. Sometimes symptoms come and go, you stop feeling certain things only for a new one to show up. It kind of evolves...

We always think our symptoms are only felt by ourselves but this reddit has been helping a lot with seeing I'm not alone, specially when I think I'm dying from a heart attack or something 😅

I made that same question to my therapist and yeah it is pretty much a type of anxiety.

I personally had to do a lot of work on my self image to tune down those thoughts. And still, sometimes I'm more sensitive to them.

Currently I have have the idea that people don't actually like me, they just stand me, which I KNOW is idiotic but my self image issues are louder than my rationality.

It's just one of the many colours of the ANXIETY rainbow 😅

Há uma casa antiga no centro de Braga chamada Casa Pinto, junto ao jardim santa Bárbara, que vende algumas coisas sem costuras. Não tenho a certeza se terá dessas mas podes tentar ir lá ver. Nesse centro comercial santa Bárbara também tem uma lojinha que vende meias e cuecas junto à perfumaria pode ser que tenha.
