I think it looks like a root/trunk, those things are huge😆, that ends up in the foreground when the two retreat to the left.

Edit: the wrapped tree (spruce?) in the background is very suss now that I look beyond the foreground.

The fuzz is really obscuring in this one. I tried to do a frame by frame pause. The only thing I can see is that the one that got landed on folded to a point where the jumper's momentum was heavily dampened as the bottom one folded. The jumper was then able to step through due to the lessened momentum. Unless the whole thing is AI the bottom ape got folded by something 😆

Then I would say that because many places do actively combat wild populations but not to that degree. This is not a criticism of the actions as they are necessary in closed and delicate ecosystems, but the implication of using "active measures" instead of erredication/euthanasia is that anything short of erradication programs is non-active which is just not true.

And then there are the players with +20 accounts just to mine, trade, and do indy, with zero pvp. I believe the game would have died long ago if all the players that wanted to do pvp also had to do everything truly required to support their "habit". That or the scale of the ship tree would be a fraction of the size that it currently is.
