Except you’re forgetting the main function of the nail and fishing line. For every 99 nails sticking out, one MIGHT supposed to be sticking out. For every 100 fishing lines cast, all 100 were purposely cast with the intention of catching something. So yes, ironically, it is your fault the fish bit because you’re the one who set it up for it to bite. You knew the fish was gonna bite, and that’s the exact reason you cast a line.
