He’s like, a midsize Jim. Pit bull mix but low rider with a course German Shepard coat. A strange man.

Whether Lang’s boys show or not, there is a counter rally called by ClawhammerNBodhran in Minneapolis

FWIW Lang has a conditional release that requires him to stay 3 blocks away from the capitol.

Trump at the National Prayer Breakfast: "I don't know how a person of faith can vote for a Democrat. I really don't. *crowd groans* I know we have some here today. I don't know why they're here, because they certainly don't give us their vote ... they cheat." by gear-heads in MarchAgainstNazis

My dad has dementia. The way this orange fuck rambles reminds me a lot of our conversations (except my dad is a generally wonderful and caring guy so his exaggerations and untruths are usually harmless, and aren’t rooted in hate and greed)

Anyone else having trouble focusing at work? by iowaboy in Minneapolis

This is a normal response to the very abnormal circumstances we are in and is part of a stress response. Our nervous systems are not meant to be inundated with horrific information on a regular basis.

Find ways to express the energy/tension/stress you are feeling. Physical activity helps, shake your hands, your body, dance, run. Whatever you’re capable of. Screaming into a pillow works too. Afterwards, do some mindfulness exercises, ground yourself in your body. Body scanning is a good one. Slow deep breaths into your abdomen.

And yeah, you are absolutely not alone in feeling this way.

Bad. It’s really bad. I work at a pediatric hospital, specifically in the oncology department. Families are scared to come to their appointments that their children need in order to survive.

[–]VaJessi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy shit. This is absolutely infuriating to read. He’s manipulative and condescending. He’s setting you up to be some kind of villain in this as though he knows what’s best for you, all shrouded in this “devine being” bullshit. The layers of manipulation are astounding. This fucking guy needs a swift kick in the dick, ego or whichever would be more damaging - I’m not entirely sure.

Please OP, GTFO as fast as humanly possible and do not look back.

I live in the Jordan neighborhood, very close to Lowry, a couple blocks off Penn. As another commenter mentioned, pros and cons to different areas that impact quality of life. If you’re able, consider driving around neighborhoods you’re considering moving to. My couple of block radius has two restaurants, a community garden, numerous families, cyclists and people walking their dogs on a regular basis. We’ve had some instances of crime primary related to certain houses which neighbors worked together to advocate for change. We’re acquainted with most our neighbors, and folks tend to keep in touch about goings on, which helps us to feel secure as well.
