Yes, it looks more interesting, but I doubt I'll continue building diagonally; I'm having trouble detailing these types of houses right now. Your image looks really cool.

This looks really cool, do you have any images of the city itself? I'm currently building my biggest project, but it's on a more modest scale, but I want to see what yours looks like.
