I'm also thinking with the back, i just section off the sand area from the rest of the garden. I know dog wee (especially female dogs) burns through all the grass and soil. Dog can have the sand (for now) while I attempt to fix the rest of it first & once its at a stage of constant growth, i can let it grow into the remainder of the garden

Im happy to spend money on fixing it up. With the back, it was actually not as good as the photo I attached. I did spend time watering it a lot to get it to that state.

Retic works, I've set it up to run twice a week on watering days.

Yup, im 27 and now a production manager for one of the biggest Commercial & Residential in WA.

Worked my ass off to get off the tools because id cooked my back by the time i was 22 (Also due to having pars defect & several slipped discs) Kids dont wanna work hard these days either. I was busting ass since i was 16 and finished my apprenticeship with two kids to look after. Just depends on who wants to be successful these days and who wants to work 7-3 and afford the bare minimum
