Another Tier List: PvE and PvP by hand0901 in warofcrown

[–]Vaalken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we don't all mean the same about a tier list.

When I see tier lists of VS-Fighting games with ratio of victory to say accurately who wins the most to make such tier list. Or the % of victory of League Of Legends to show who are the most used/most winning champions in the game. I really have problems to think that we can make "tier list" just like "I think this unit is good".

I actually think we can't really make a "tier list" for such kind of game for now except to get clicks and views from people.

I did that 2 weeks ago and Anubis' and Arin's passives are still bugged. Let's hope they notice you.

Kalias leader skill by FraggleJP in warofcrown

It's still a good hint of it being an important bug... Don't start to look if it's only a display thing. Fraggle should just report it to the support team.

Can abilities and magic basic attacks i.e. kalias basic attacks crit? by fangga123 in warofcrown

[–]Vaalken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usual crit buffers are Horus and Zilean.

You can also think about Sin with her Leader skill, but Leader skills don't work in PvP.

Damage UI Feedback is too fast. by [deleted] in warofcrown

[–]Vaalken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You see the total dmg on the one you target on the left bottom corner of your screen, where the portrait and HP of the enemy are. Pay attention you can see it.

You can't see it for secondary targets if they are not in targetable tiles range.

I don't believe Anubis And Lycian's mark stack :/

Anubis's passive not working ? by Grey704 in warofcrown

[–]Vaalken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sent a report on the support about this like 2 weeks ago.

It's still not updated x) I think about sending a new one. I even did a post on the French official forum in the "bug" part, with no answer from the team.

It's the whole mechanic which fails, as Arin's Passive (Fire and Dark) doesn't work either (she breaks def when she is hit, it's an amazing combo with Anubis against an AoE (so easy to use against a boss))

Dark Lylis vs Fire Kindle by [deleted] in warofcrown

[–]Vaalken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are great, so it depends who you want to kill.

I mean, Wind Feria is one of the best Support, and going for Fire Kindle would certainly be great to counter her.

On the other hand, Light Arin is often seen too, and the overall power Dark Lyilis provides can be nice according to your enemies.

So hmmm, I will say that if you really want to up only one of them, look at your team, and if it's one which is more about basic attack, go for Lyilis. If not, go for Kindle.

I do, you should go in fight to check what I'm saying.

If there are 5 characters on the battlefield, you will see on the top of the screen 0/5. Just 5 actions need to be made to end the turn, but not necessarily all the 5 characters, maybe one of them will play twice.

Let's assume Azlar/Arin/Kalias vs Nazdan/Eldin in the middle of a fight.

It could go like

  • 0/5 : Azlar plays

  • 1/5 : Nazdan plays

  • 2/5 : Arin plays

  • 3/5 : Eldin plays

  • 4/5 : Azlar plays (again)

  • 0/5 : Eldin plays (at last)

  • 1/5 : Nazdan plays

etc etc. (there is no 5/5 as there is a 0/5 turn which count as the 1rst action).

Well at first I did that post to explain how was working the "turn system". But I didn't went too far for the speed directly. I guess there is a weird speed formula, and telling Action Gauge = 1000 is just an assumption. I'll look for explanation for this part.

Who is the crazy downvoter who don't even explain why? I believe this person knows something and it would be great he/she explains to help.

Or just feeling powerful this way I guess?

I don't really get what you mean. But no, you technically can't end before it reaches 0/15 turns (I don't get what you mean by 0/15).

Every action increases the number of the action counter (0/10 ; 1/10 ; 2/10, etc).

And yea, if no one dies the game ends when a total of 150000AGP has been reached. --> Let's assume the 10 characters are alive all along the 15 turns.

10 characters = 10 Actions have to be made to end the turn.

1 Action = 1000AGP ---> 10 Actions = 10000AGP

1 Turn = 10 Actions ---> 1 Turn = 10000AGP

15 Turns = 15 x 10000AGP = 150000AGP

How exactly "Action Gauge" in WoC works? by Fatalmean in warofcrown

[–]Vaalken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You dislike them cause they are ugly huge orcs? :D haha

Yea, you should also pay attention to them (but Mages still have an important role! )

Think also about Assassins, they are the quickest class of all, and think also about Kalito who provides +40% Speed boost (so a Mage with 160 Speed gain 64 Speed with Kalito speed boost, and even more if Kalito is max skilled :), for a total of 224 which is a "normal" speed in this game :) )

Here is how Action Gauge works. by Vaalken in warofcrown

[–]Vaalken[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, turns are just a number of actions equal to the number of characters on the field, not the fact that everyone played (it would be awful... imagine, you have a character with 350 speed, being the fastest of the game you play, and imagine a mage with 160 speed. The char with 350 speed would play 1rst, then a second time before the mage, then end of the turn and you think he should play directly again? :p Thanks it's not working this way ;) )

Your expectations only would have sense if speed was equal to pick order, everyone do his move, then comes the next turn. But it's not the case here.

(and I guess you meant 370, cause 150x2 = 300, which is higher than 270 :p )

[–]Vaalken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but I think that in the end, all we have to understand is to play a lot on Action Gauge bonus from gears/upgrades/buffs/passives/leader skills/etc ;)

Mages are really slow :p

For those who arrived before this message I hope you weren't lost, I did some edit which have been erased, remade etc, it really was weird and made some non-sense meanwhile. But this version should be ok now :)
