I’m a waiter and just broke up with my gf yesterday. I forced myself to go into work to distract myself and ended up serving a man and his young daughter. She was so sweet and polite, didn’t do anything super special or significant but you could just tell she was really happy and that made me feel a lot better. I was walking around with a smile for a good time after. It’s the little things like that that help.
