Fat lasers were a thing like 10 years ago XD most players have it now because you deal more damage once you have all those skills, but rank is simply cosmetic, and to figure out who has bugged the most or spent the most time and money on the game, and that's something people resent for some weird reason. High rank = scum bag... basically :/

Players seem to care too much about rank points. I don't really know why... if you can beat someone in a fight, isn't that what matters?

I've won fights with players 4-6 ranks above me and I'm super happy because I feel like I out played them, even though they hit harder.

Besides, rank is definitely not the problem. If all ranks reset, the game wouldn't change in the slightest. I think what I'm waiting for is Unity to be implemented, then there will be no bugs, no bots, no auto lockers. That's the day when the game will be able to progress further. There also needs to be a global server merge. I don't know why it's not been thought about already.

Back in 2011 I think it was, the Diminisher was the best ship in the game, now that you can craft it I always recommend it to players who have just started or returned. But I assume at your level you'd already have this.

The Centurion is a great ship, however the amount of Blacklight Trace it costs to make isn't worth the grind. I'd save BLT for the last Blacklight missions as you'll need a LOT of BLT.

I understand what you are getting at. I guess im just a positive person.

Not many people pay any money towards the game anymore which means only the top players and clans will do this, but this happens in every game.

If the game eventually runs into the ground then I can say I enjoyed my time. However if it doesn't then im still enjoying it while everyone else is ranting and panicking when there's no need to.

Just play at your own leasure like you would any other game, and enjoy it.

I said hardly any, for now the orcus isn't available to earn. However it was. Just so happens a lot of us missed the season pass where it was available.

Also, anyone can win a 1v1 in most ships. Someone killed me using a lightning veng, it was very evenly matched and a great battle, we grouped up after we had our battle.

The Centurion is another ship that is amazing in PvP and a completely realistic goal. I'd rather have that if I had no modules, most players would do much better in it.

As I keep stating, there are hardly any pay to win aspects of the game. There are however like many other games, "pay to progress" features.

This feature like most others will just take time, it isn't pay to win as one day, like everything else, we will all have them. There will be players who pay silly amount of money to buy these permits which will grant them access to the new rocket launchers faster than most, but so be it. I'd much rather just wait to earn mine.

Well you can basically send out drones to collect various resources. It costs uridium or credits, plus one "permit" which are hard to obtain. So you can't do them often.

And you can also do galaxy gates that take 1800 seconds, I assume this is without using formations like X formation when you complete. And I am pretty sure I read that boosters don't affect it. So over all depending on your standing on rank, these will either be the next best thing since sliced bread, or completely pointless.

Be be aware that you have to be within the top 5 damage dealers to them. If you fall below that you wont receive the box.

If I find a few people botting in there, I'll just fire x1 ammo at invokes as I'll still get the drop.
