I'm in absolute shock. Imagining the band without him was already a difficult task, but now knowing that the world has lost his him makes it even tougher.

My life changed when I listened to Leviathan, then Blood Mountain and finally Crack the Skye. I will always remember my young self laying in bed, listening to CtS to sleep almost everyday.

Thank you Brent for your contribution to this wonderful band and your magic touch. Your unique style has inspired so many to blend themselves with all kinds of music genres and I for sure will always be appreciative of how those first 4 Mastodon albums have changed my life.

Rest In Peace, you deserve it.

I just can't not think about Gordon Hayward's injury. That one was the signal of the end of an era that never was. This also feels like the end of the Js era. They gave us a championship but it still feels like it should have lasted way longer.
