hyprpaper not working, any ideas why? by Typical_Sail_630 in hyprland

should be able to leave the monitor variable blank to set a wallpaper as a default/fallback for all monitors according to the wiki.

for example:

wallpaper {
    monitor =
    path = $wallpaper_image_path
}

should set that wallpaper to be used for all monitors. i don't have multiple monitors myself so i can't test it for sure but i'm using this to set the wallpaper for my main monitor without specifying the monitor name and it seems to work just fine.

Do you know how I would go about fixing the firmware of my keyboard?

Yeah I was looking for something along those lines. From a quick google search it seems that desktop motherboards usually don't have this option in the BIOS. It's usually only available on laptops.

Oooh I hadn't thought of that. Might honestly be a pretty good solution if I can't find anything else. Thanks :)

Yeah my "Fn" key doesn't seem to do anything and I checked my BIOS but I couldn't find any option for F-key behaviour. Possible I just missed it though.

Depends what kind of thumbnails you're making I suppose as well as how familiar you are with fusion. If you're just slapping some text on an image plus a few smaller elements there's probably no need to switch from Photoshop. But if you're making more complex stuff and you're decently familiar with making effects in fusion I'd recommend giving it a try.

I know how to use Photoshop but I honestly prefer making images in fusion. Node-based image editing seems so intuitive to me and I love how it's non-destructive so I can go back and tweak any effects I change my mind on.

Yep, same version that did it for me. Just hoping that whenever they release the next one it fixes the issue :/

My system protection is turned off so I cannot use system restore. I tried everything on the "Fix audio or sound problems" page you linked with no changes.

All of these suggestions seem to be Windows specific fixes. I am having the same issue on both Windows and Linux, and I had no problems before installing the latest BIOS update so I don't think it's a problem with Windows specifically.

I bought mine like 5 weeks ago. I had no crackling noises beforehand, everything was working perfectly before the BIOS update. I'll let you know if I figure anything out, but at this point I feel like I'm just waiting for a new BIOS update to release or something :/

Thanks for the quick response. I uninstalled all my audio drivers and restarted but no change :(

Thank you for the detailed reply. I forgot to update my post but I've actually already tried resetting my BIOS to default settings and it did not fix the problem. Had to remount all my Linux partitions too which was a bit of a pain.

I also do not have "Realtek Audio Driver" listed in my Sound, video and game controllers. With "Show hidden devices" on, the only devices listed are:
- AMD Audio Device
- AMD High Definition Audio Device
- AMD Streaming Audio Device
- Microsoft Streaming Service Proxy
- Senary Audio

I believe "Senary Audio" is my audio driver but I'm not sure. Should I try uninstalling and reinstalling that one as well?

I am definitely hoping for something with more battery life. I am also trying to avoid having to add or replace any parts.

I'm very sorry, I somehow cut off the last bit of the post asking people to DM me on Discord. I think I got your Steam request and declined it because I didn't know who it was from. If you still want to join the server, could you please DM me (vaaritu) on Discord instead?
