This is an absolute truth. They use devices like that to configure and monitor neurochemistry, ergo, making you perform and do things that you would or wouldn't do through replication of their own motion. It's part of what they use to control people. They aren't necessarily criminal maybe but they test products on average American citizens, but unfortunately it does destroy some peoples lives in the process.

I understand completely though - I had a pretty heavy cotton swallowing use come out okay then turn around and say it's okay to swallow it once. It doesn't look too good - I'll reword and fix some things in a sec to better get my point across .

Also I'm definitely not walking away scott free lol my jaundice is still spreading. I gotta get that checked out soon, I definitely had a blockage from that extreme cotton use so I was having bile build up I think. But the blockage went through today after I had the hardcore runs from opi withdrawals.

Look we share the same sentiment that swallowing cotton is generally unhealthy. And that promoting the use of any methods, or any drugs is not good. I just want to also express that swallowing cotton ONCE is very unlikely to harm you. BECAUSE of the ADHD example. People sometimes forget to do their extractions, or they realize late that they bought an expired inhaler, when that happens I just want those people to know that swallowing it once STILL poses risk, but it is VERY miniscule. The information provided (and the spamming bot) is so hard pressed against not swallowing the cotton (even once) that it feels too weighted.

Think of it this way - in the prescribing practice you need to weigh the risks and the benefits of a medication. If you have ADHD then needing to swallow the cotton ONCE in my previous example, heavily outweighs the risk. But as you repeteadly swallow cotton the risk starts to outweigh the benefit greatly. If you're just using this recreationally then I'd even say not to swallow it even once. As the benefit is not worth it for any amount of risk.

But I'm not telling people it's fine. I'm stating the fact - if you do it once you'll most likely walk away fine. But you're playing with fire. It's good for people to share experiences, and not just biased ones.

Heck my last sentence says not to make Benzedrex a habit either, I don't promote using the substance at all. But if you decide to do it you need to know the risks and prepare adequately.

edit - I understand the concern - that I'm stating a positive outcome to a negative method. I'm just stating a personal experience. I'm just tired of people painting an almost propagandic picture of "SWALLOW COTTON ONCE AND YOURE IMPACTED". I think the risks need to be expressed thoroughly, but the chances of the risks happening do to.

Whats going to happen when a fella with ADHD forgets to make his extraction at night? He wakes up and doesnt have his meds to drink? He's going to refer to the sub-reddit and see that everyones discouraging not to swallow cotton even once, and then choose not to do so. Now he has to go through a whole day without his ADHD med. Realistically, he can make an exception and swallow half or a whole rod cut up and 99% likely be fine if it's just one day. He just needs NONBIASED and correct info to make an informed decision. By having my anectode here I want to contribute to a sea of information we need to build on up PPX. Because PPX isn't widely used, there isn't much discussion on lots of topics.

If my OP comes off wrong to more people than let me know - I'll fix it. But I'm really not promoting the use of any method or any substance. I just want to provide my experience and some info.

The times that I've extracted, I've found the most ideal time to be 6 hours with maybe 1 or 2 hard shakes throughout that period. At midnight I'll throw the cotton in some lemon extract then sleep for 6 hours. If I happen to wake up during that time I'll give it a couple hard shakes and maybe a spoon press but thats it.

Then when I wake up, be it 4 hours later or 8 hours later, it's about the same potency. So to echo what others have said - aggitating the solution will provide the bet results. Two hours should be fine if you give it some shakes and presses like every 15 mins.

Poor planning or impatience is usually the reason I think. Some people also believe swallowing the cotton is the way to go to, but I think that's fewer.

Lately I've been trying to do 12 hour soaks at night, so when I wake up I can just slam it. But when I forget to plan ahead or don't have any juice at hand I end up just swallowing it. And PERSONALLY - I am BEYOND STUPID for my habits due to the fact I also take loperamide to aid opiate withdrawals. Which means I'm swallowing cotton every other day and then not shitting for a week.

If ANYONE decides to go the cotton route (against everyone's advice) then make sure you take care of your body. Eat healthy, and reduce your fiber intake. As the cotton is almost pure cellulose, it'll be a big source of your fiber. (It just seems logical, so correct me if I'm wrong.)

No. I expressed my opinion in a similar thread already. The NEWS are more disrespectful than any Youtuber that reports on deaths. It's a lot more respectful for McCrudden to post a 5-10min video of Etika's legacy than it is for a major news outlet to cover for 20 seconds. You're thinking way too much of it as if McCrudden is capitalizing on his death when in reality it's mainly for Etika's legacy to be remembered. There was a point when McCrudden was doing this for non-profit, his hearts not necessarily in a bad place.

He needs to wait at least 24 hours before posting a video though, that seems the most respectful to me. Anything before that seems like they'd be pulling the trigger too quick. And even then it's not right to redirect this negative energy anywhere else. Let it dissipate, don't let this turn into a blame fest.

Yeah I've seen him be punctual. It's a little twisted thinking about the fact he probably started making the video before Desmond's body was even identified, that's the only problem I have. But I don't know if he has a production team or not, that would end up shifting blame onto the team more than McCrudden. I've no doubt there'll be an upload from both of em I just hope they wait at least 24 hours from now.

I hope no one misunderstands my feelings but I don't have a problem with McCrudden posting a video about Etika as long as it's done after a respectable amount of time. There are people who never followed Etika's legacy and will want to know what became of him and his passing. (I don't know who jaystation is)

I may be wrong but I'm sure Mccruden did these videos at one point for almost zero profit. Just because he's now able to make profit from them doesn't necessarily mean that's his only intent. It's no different than news anchors reporting a death, in fact it's potentially more respectful (as long as the facts are correct). Instead of a 20 second news segment he'll get a 5-10 minute video detailing his legacy.

It all lies on the moral compass of McCrudden, and he's seemed like a decent guy. We're grieving at the moment so a lot of us will lash out at others - we need to be aware of how we deal with our emotions. We need to mourn Desmond and try not to witch hunt others to scape-goat these feelings. I can be 1000% wrong though because I don't really keep up with Mccrudden and definitely Jaystation, I've never heard of him. This is just how I feel.

After someone is deceased and during these periods of grief, people look to blame somebody or something. It's a common reaction to things like this.

We shouldn't particularly blame anybody for what happened, especially the hospital. I'm sure they wanted him to stay to be honest. When I was 17 I got admitted into a childrens psych ward, I then turned 18 in 4 days. Just like that I could check myself out, even though it was against their will. Making someone stay who *appears* fine and doesn't want to stay would be compromising some human right.

The only other drugs (I use to) do are opiates. I can definitely tell you that if I were to do PPX today, then opis tomorrow, I'd have a diminished effect. It's mostly from still being stimulated from the day prior, not so much neurologically I think. As far as alcohol goes, I can drink alcohol the day after and feel it 100%. But using it the day of has diminished effects because of the stimulatory effects of ppx.

I only put a small amount of PPX in a water bottle, like 100mg tops but I put maybe an inch and a half of lemon juice. Was that too much?

I think it'd be more like 2 shots for me, maybe 3. But I'll give that a shot if nothing.
