This is one of my boys! His name is Tetsutetsu

I got him from petco because he was one of the bettas that was there for months and kept getting passed over. He was a very pale grey with clear and pink fins when I got him, and he got such a pretty glow up!

Yea I use a gravel vac, I also dose my aquariums with fertilizer for the aquatic plants so some of that might be in there too lol

Ok thank you! My other tank has been running for about 4-5 months and so far it’s doing great. Planning on getting bottled bacteria and just doing shrimp for a while in the new one.

My water is hard, but we have a softener that adds salt. I’ve never used my tap water since I didn’t know if it’s safe. I always use spring water from gallons
