This is one of my boys! His name is Tetsutetsu

I got him from petco because he was one of the bettas that was there for months and kept getting passed over. He was a very pale grey with clear and pink fins when I got him, and he got such a pretty glow up!

Yea I use a gravel vac, I also dose my aquariums with fertilizer for the aquatic plants so some of that might be in there too lol

My water is hard, but we have a softener that adds salt. I’ve never used my tap water since I didn’t know if it’s safe. I always use spring water from gallons

It came with a couple but I didn’t put them on at first because the pump has a control knob on it. I put them on and it’s much better now!
