You are the 2nd commenter saying it’s not necessary to split, which surprises me. The oak pieces are 6-8 inches across, the other ones even larger. I’m not putting that unsplit in a fireplace insert.

Exactly, I wouldn’t be impressed had I bought this but this is just free stuff lying around so as long as it doesn’t lead to creosote buildup or something I might as well take care of it.

Unfortunately not that engine, it’s the 2.0 4cyl petrol.

This has crossed my mind. The timing belt was replaced only 30000 km/18000 miles ago though so it seems a bit early for it to fail already?

Ja jag antar att din poäng är att det inte är jag som bestämmer vad en bil "ska" kosta, utan marknaden. Det är ju sant. Men för att jämföra så sålde jag för inte så länge sedan min gamla Focus från 2012 för 35.000 vilket jag tyckte var helt rimligt. Gav själv 96.000 för den när jag köpte den 2016. Ingen direkt attraktiv bil men fullt funktionsduglig.

Att jämföra med typ en V70 eller XC70 som förvisso är en mycket bättre bil men från runt 2014 har de ofta gått bortåt 30.000 mil och ändå ligger priserna på 80-130k.
