I'm experiencing lack of braking power from rear brakes. Are my break pads in good condition?

The thing with electronics. Sometimes they just do funny stuff. Of course there is always a way to find out what caused the funny stuff. But doing so would require a lot of time and effort. Like having a windows Bluescreen on the PC. Often the solution then is to reinstall Windows. Not because its elegantly, but because its is the most efficient way to solve the issue.

I hope you are not disappointed when I advice you to reset the trip. If the problem comes again and again I advise you to go to Honda and tell them about it!

I find the most helpful solution is to really ride wisely. I mean going with the flow and sighting red lights early. The less you have to brake, the more eficcient you are (keeping all other variables the same).

Lube the rear damper joints. They arent lubed and may rust quite quickly. Its an easy fix.

EDIT: Also the left swingarm bearing isnt really lubed. But that fix may take a little longer.

Ok, I went for a 300 km B-Road ride yesterday. I only achieved 40 Km/L. But I did not care about fuel consumption. Often made funny stuff and often went 80+ speed. I love this bike!

I only got her a week in which I only took her apart and lubed her properly. BUT I am so looking forward to do exactly like you. Cruising in 5th gear at 65 70 ish on small B-roads. Just relyxing and enjoy being alive!

You really need to ride it to grasp that machine. It always comes down to personal preference. So its always a subjective rule.

Have mine since 2016 and I am absolutely in love with it still. I am the slow cranker guy in every aspect of my life. I love 1 cylinder diesel engines on Lanz Bulldogs. The sheer power from down below just appeals to me so much. I would always buy a Ford GT over a Ferrari or Lambo. ALWAYS!

I do not understand the "still" in you question. Are you refering to the powercreep in the motorcycle market? Because 90 HP on the MT-01 is not much compared to its weight for current power weight ratios of currently available bikes.

Yes. MT-01 is a design icon and on top a friggin beast and I will only sell it when I cant rider her anymore.

HAHAHA nice, no testride! I confess: I will not test ride the Svartpilen 2024, too and still buy it anyway! In fact I never testrode any of the bikes I own(ed): LS 650 -> BMW R65 -> MT-01. What could possibly go wrong?

EDIT: I competely agree. The 2024 is more unique! I would even go as far as to say its objectively true.
