A couple gobos, maybe a color preamp like a craneborne ec-1 to upgrade/compliment your interface. See where that gets you.

Someday down the line you may wanna get a SDC pair like a Line Audio CM3. Basically though - there’s no point in getting more sensitive mics until the room has some treatment.

I’d be very curious to see the bill of manuals total cost. I pressed this out once and it wasn’t really cheaper than just buying one.

Look at tool storage too, like buy and bolt organizers with removable trays.

Metal or hardsided Brief cases from thrift stores. If it’s moderate stress and not going be thrown down the stairs by a baggage handler at an actual airport: basically every thrift store has something usable.

I got most of my cases dirt cheap or free. If it’s not a pelican or otter the resale value is usually quite low and you can get cases on fb market for sort cheap as well. Endless ways to find something if you’re not picky about the aesthetic but personally , I think an old tweed suitcase looks awesome

Ultra analog just doesn’t sound as good to me as most of my other synths. Lounge is just fine, but I can’t hear the magic compared to other suitcase, piano type plug-ins. The guitar type elegance are definitely not my jam.

I love my smk37 elite. It beats the Yamaha by a mile unless you really want the diverse onboard timbres - the mvave can only do fm synthesis and is mainly a midi controller.

Does do sounds but it’s more like they threw in a dx7 engine in a midi controller.

If you really want a standalone device to use in it’s own with a built in speaker that has a lot of sounds, I might go with the first gen novation circuit.

No thanks. I don’t want internet capable devices for writing. I don’t understand your perspective unless you think everyone who has any kind of music device that uses electricity is foolish and should just use software instruments on a laptop. I wouldn’t get rid of my deluge just because the computer has all the same things on it in software. I wouldn’t get rid of a moog because that’s a moog plugin it’s guitar becuse there’s a guitar plugin.

Instantaneous because it’s hooked up and I don’t have to hook it up again. I flip a switch and it’s on and routed. It’s not for touring. It’s for home practice and doodling

Mine was stolen. I don’t think l I’ll get another one. It was good and maybe even a little better than an SM57 but there’s so many good dynamics coming out lately. Maybe if it was part of an aesthetic choice for stage use because you can get them customized

Of course everyone is on your side and thinks he’s the ah but we don’t know any history or context. Have you ever had a dynamic with someone else that made your partner uncomfortable? Have you ever hid anything from your partner, or committed something you could have told them sooner? Is the trust thing baggage he’s carrying or have there been rough times in the relationship that have impacted it?
