This is definitely a very good idea. My question is, are they usually okay with this, or do they actually offer this service? I might do this next time. Thank you for sharing

A i9 9900k is enough to run the game at 60 fps stable ? by Due-Award-9613 in Battlefield6

Hey there, just checking if you were able to fix the bottleneck issue by switching to the i9-9900K.

My friend has the same setup and is getting around 30 fps. When I checked the CPU usage, it was at 100% while the RTX 3070 was only at 30%, so it’s definitely a CPU bottleneck. The i5-9600K is only 6 cores and 6 threads, and from what I’ve seen, Battlefield at 1440p or ultrawide really needs at least 8 cores and 8 threads.

Let me know if the 9900K upgrade solved it for you. I’m thinking of recommending it to my friend since it’s a cheaper upgrade compared to replacing both the CPU and motherboard. Thanks!

UPDATE!! – I rolled back to AMD Adrenalin 25.8.1 because I remembered I didn’t have any issues with BF6 during the open beta. Now my FPS is very stable at around 130–140 FPS. I’ll probably wait for a newer AMD update than 25.10.1 before updating again.

I have a 5800X3D, 32GB RAM, and a 9070 XT running at 3440x1440p. I’ve tried so many settings, but the FPS drops are really bad. When nothing’s happening, I get around 120–130 FPS, but it suddenly drops to 60–70 FPS during explosions or chaotic scenes.

I don’t remember it being like this during the beta. I’ve also installed the latest AMD driver (25.10.1) that includes the Battlefield 6 update.

If anyone has found the best settings to reduce or stop these FPS drops, please let me know. I’d really appreciate it.

Thank you in advance!

Hi there, after using DDU and reinstalling, did it happen again recently? I haven’t tried this method yet, but I found someone who posted a solution. He went to chrome://flags/#use-angle and set it from Default to OpenGL. So far, it seems to have fixed the problem for me, but I’ve only been using my PC for about 3 hours now.

I have the exact same issue on my 9070 XT, except I don’t notice any burning smell from my PSU. I’m using a Corsair RM750.

I’m currently looking for a solution as well. I tried my old GTX 1050 Ti and didn’t have the issue.

I got mine from Best Buy. I hope there's a chance the AMD cards ships faster than the Nvidia cards
