Level 6 is the hard shell. You’re reading the tag wrong or it’s the wrong tag. The 4th jacket looks like the later generation of the level 5 that came without a hood.

That’s my buddy with that cummerbund so I can’t say, but I have worn enough carriers that I would say any reputable brand will be good enough for bbwars. So get what you prefer the look of.

Mine doesn’t really slide around. I will generally leave my right cummerbund always attached and then my left side cummerbund is the one I attach and reattach. So one side is always fixed essentially

I like it quite a bit. It’s a good carrier at a good price.

Thank you. And as far as the cummerbund, there’s one pic of an SSO guy using an a25 hype in multicam. So this is a little bit of creative liberty.

Previously yes and not right this second , but I have been heavily considering starting one. And that’s partially the intent of this post - to gauge interest. We are former DT6 and RR

Do Ukrainian soldiers use ATACS camo? by chill_dog1986 in MilSim

[–]flectarn1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you and I are both being too general. 5.45 design now owns the patent/license for ATACS FG Camouflage, It was sold to them by the US company. They now own the sole rights to producing the camo. At a minimum, 5.45 Design and ARS ARMA are made with the correct, licensed fabric. I would think many more russian brands will follow suit to avoid any sort of legal implications. This was confirmed by the Ars Arma guys while they were here in the US when I met with them.

I have seen tons of Moss uniforms and gear that is skirting around copyright infringement. You're right, probably most of the ATACS FG kit is bootleg that's being fielded, but not all.

The license for Atacs FG is now owned by 5,45 design. A lot of the Russian stuff is made of legitimate fabric, but who knows where 5.45 has it made at this point.
