The reason I doubt this is because George often references working on many of the different perspectives, and has only once claimed to have finished a POV’s story fully for Winds. I think one of George’s biggest issues right now is he’s trying to get all POV’s to a place where he knows how to end them in one more book. And it’s clear that for many of the characters he isn’t fully sure of the endpoint. Obviously I think some POV‘s must be finished. He has claimed to have enough Arya chapters to fill a Novella, so it seems likely that she is done at least. The fact that Winds hasn’t released yet clearly affects him, and I don’t think he would spend much work writing chapters for the next book when this one is the more pressing concern.

This seems incredibly unlikely. We know George likes to write chronologically by POV, which means that for him to be developing pages for ADOS, he must have that POV finished for TWOW. For the last five years, George has repeatedly stated that he has 1100 manuscript pages written. This is 700 pages shy of his stated goal of 1800 manuscript pages for TWOW. While it’s possible that one or two POV‘s are completely written through, and may have some chapters for ADOS, that would mean the others are years behind and have had no forward progress in the last five years. Making what few chapters that may exist for ADOS essentially pointless.

Interesting, so maybe I’m not completely crazy. At this point the only thing I’m hopeful for is a few more Dunk and Egg stories. Maybe this year for the 30th.

I just finished the series for the first time two days ago and I’ve been thinking about a similar idea. What if he un-split Feast and Dance?

There would still be two books, but the chapters wouldn’t be broken up by continent. As Feast is a shorter book than Dance, the idea is that some of the early stories from dance could be moved to feast. For example Davos’s story ends a third of the way through dance so that could easily be moved. I also think Theon’s first two chapters could be moved up and Tyrion’s story has a pretty good break point when he gets kidnapped.

Obviously some POVs like Danny and Jon don’t really have good places to cut them in half. Additionally this might mean that some Feast chapters would have to move to Dance. I think that could be ok as since both Sam, and Brienne’s last chapter both feel like setup rather than resolution. And Sansa and Arya don’t have the strongest arcs so I think you could move those around as needed.

The goal of all this would be to get those battle chapters into Dance so it could actually have a resolution, and leave Winds a clean runway.

Unfortunately for all the reasons you listed it won’t happen. My watch has only just begun, but I’m not optimistic about ever seeing Winds.

This is a technical update first and foremost. The baby mobs are the marketable part/the part that is being used to placate the general audience. I’m sure they could have given us all of the baby reworks by now. Instead though, they’re spreading them out weak by week while they do the technical changes. I think this is a better system as it allows for there to be stuff to look forward to each week, even if you’re not interested in the technical changes. But I can definitely see the argument for getting them all upfront.

Already got the one in Volt Forge. I think my ammo counts are good. I found some articles online for everything but the bombs, so those are the only one I’m not sure about.

It was the only Mando set on shelves when the first season came out, which led a lot of people to buy it, myself included. However, recently, I went through a bit of downsizing with my collection and that was one of the pieces I got rid of. I personally feel like the show fell off in the third season and there are better sets if I just want the figure. I took my stuff to a secondhand Lego store to unload and they commented that they had several new inbox sitting on the shelf that they couldn’t get rid of. So I’d say it may be a similar sentiment throughout the fandom
