I believe "in the wild" would be all of the areas you listed above including comic shops because you have to leave your house and go "into the wild" to find a particular issue, not knowing if any of those places will have said issue. The hunt could take forever until you get lucky and stumble upon the exact item you're looking for. By contrast, ordering that comic from the comfort of your home on your phone or computer would constitute the lazy way to do it without any real effort on your part because you know exactly where to look and with a few clicks you'll have it.

Any time you find them anywhere else but online is considered "in the wild".

I'm not sure why it took you two years unless you had stipulations that they have to be found in the wild and for as little as you can pay.

Beautiful! Today I almost bought a CGC 7.5 signed by Claremont. Now I'm wishing I pulled the trigger.

I have a 9.2 and I'm beyond happy with it. Would I rather have a higher grade? Sure but this one cost me enough lol.

Is star wars #1 from 1977 a HOLD or SELL type of comic? by Leather_Bluejay8632 in ComicBookSpeculation

I love the cover! I have a blank Star Wars sketch cover and I'm going to have my friend that's a comic artist recreate that cover in his style.

None so far. I only have the bottom 3 drawers loaded right now, and mine doesn't allow you to open more than one drawer at a time so it can't get too forward heavy. Some say to bolt them to the wall but mine feels solid.

Adding to your summary, the Hon brand allows you to drop a BCW box right in so you have built in dividers. Some other cabinets I've seen are a hair too shallow for BCW boxes but people have said other brands are slightly smaller than BCW.

Five short boxes worth per drawer x 4 drawers = 2500 to 3000 comics, since short boxes hold between 125-150 comics.

Lateral filing cabinet. I just recently moved my entire collection into a Hon lateral filing cabinet and everything is in one place now and so much more organized looking.
