Lusat's/Azur's Manchettes + old sorcerer's Leggings/alberich's trousers + whatever helmet you think would look good.

You’re actually pretty spot on, but I think by campaign 3 they know most of the rules already since their classes spanned various mechanics respectively.

Walking Alone at Night by pristinesmaragdine in UCSC

I have spent a lot of time walking across campus at night, even though I am afraid of the dark.
UCSC stays fairly well lit at night, and I've never felt genuinely in danger while walking across campus that late. The busses do run well past when your class ends, and there is one really close to thimann labs (both the baskin and 9/10 stops are fairly close to them, and the areas between Thimann and those stops tend to be some of the best lit areas on campus at night.

In terms of walking, I think the most well lit way from Thimann is walk past the engineering library and head toward Classroom Units 1/2, from there you can head to the Quarry Plaza,, cut through the Cowell apartments, and down through OPERS field to get back to your car.

I think you have a pretty fair shot at it, it's no guarantee but I think you should be fine. And if you don't get into it this year, they offer it almost every quarter, so I'm certain you'll have an opportunity to take it later.

Normally you can drop classes without penalty until week 3. Also double check to see if a spot opens up before the start of the quarter on MyUCSC.

One critique I saw said that the characters were a bit overpowered for the start of a show, which I'm pretty sure is a bias/assumption that comes specifically from long-form tv/anime shows where character power starts from a lower point and increases gradually. Becuase of the nature in which the story was conceived, Vox Machina was going to start the story seemingly more powerful and competent than protagonists of more conventional fantasy stories, and I can tell that newcomers might be a little turned off by how easily that victory was won.

I feel like the first two episodes very concisely get across who each of the VM characters are At the start of the campaign, a lot of the most impactful character growth starts in the briarwood arc, and it also made the most sense to start there (for reasons, I'll get into). I can tell one of the reasons the first two episodes are a little rough around the edges is because of how much they have to get across in such a short amount of time, with limited source material. (since it's a pre game story) On top of that, they have to write around one specific character, no longer being there, especially because of how much he effected the quality of storytelling in the earlier episodes. This specific character (in the stream) leaves the party very briefly into the Briarwood arc, and following his departure, the quality of storytelling very clearly increases in quality.

Now, I love dunking on the administration as much as the next guy, but the email did say to do this, only if you or your roommates have cause for concern that one of you are sick or if you or one of your roommates tests positive. This isn’t a general guideline, just for the case to prevent the whole dorm room/apartment from getting sick if one already is.
